Sr Manager - Operations Strategy (remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Manager - Operations Strategy (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will shape operations strategy and planning for a complex business environment, with a strong emphasis on financial forecasting, performance metrics, and executive decision support. The ideal candidate will partner across functions to evaluate risks, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement efforts that support organizational goals. This position requires a leader who can translate analysis into actionable recommendations and help align cross-disciplinary teams around strategic outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operations strategic planning and financial forecasting
• Establish and manage operational targets and metrics
• Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify industry opportunities
• Perform risk assessments for executive decision-making
• Provide data analysis and scenario modeling for executive support
• Support strategic reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate across disciplines to achieve organizational goals

Qualifications

• University degree with 10 years of experience or advanced degree with 7 years of experience in a related field
• 3+ years in operational roles focused on strategy and execution
• Project management experience in planning and execution
• Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
