Requirements
Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree from an accredited college in computer or electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and combined education, along with 7+ years of professional experience.
- We require an active DoD Final Secret security clearance, and candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered.
- We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of sensor discrimination and object classification.
- We require demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting complex mathematical algorithms.
- We need experience analyzing complex algorithms and software using metrics and visualizations to validate product performance.
- We require strong problem-solving ability, including reviewing system behavior issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions.
- We are looking for excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment.
- We require the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, and Deployment and Warfighter Support.
- We need candidates who are comfortable working in an agile team and presenting work to external stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes data fusion, machine learning classification, sensor discrimination, signal processing, and Kalman filtering.
- Preferred experience includes agile development, missile defense domain knowledge, and real-time Java application development.
- Preferred experience includes integrating new capabilities into legacy software systems and creating design documents for complex mathematical algorithms.
- Preferred experience includes building metrics and visualization tools for analysis and performance verification, software analysis against performance requirements, and resolving security issues flagged by tools such as Fortify or SonarQube.
- Preferred experience includes Maven or Gradle and automated unit testing frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- We design and develop discrimination and fusion algorithms within the C2BMC Track Server application.
- We analyze, test, and verify existing algorithm designs and their performance.
- We support software testing and resolve issues across multiple baselines.
- We perform in-depth technical analysis and provide support for systems software products, including complex problem resolution.
- We work from system specifications to develop or modify operating system applications.
- We assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of algorithms and software.
- We interface with other system support groups to coordinate delivery and integration efforts.
- We generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews.
- We develop technical documentation, including white papers and ADDs, and present designs to external stakeholders.
