Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field - 1 to 5 years of experience in designing or selling building systems, energy modeling, or facility management - Undergraduate experience in building or system modeling is preferred - Entry-level function-specific licenses or certifications preferred (e.g., Fundamentals of Engineering Certification) - Strong analytical skills and ability to manage project development tasks - Proficient in identifying various facility mechanical and electrical systems - Ability to collaborate effectively, focus on results, and maintain professionalism and ethics - Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in customer-facing roles - Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and SharePoint - Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate within the Development Team to achieve departmental and project goals - Contribute to engineering, field auditing, and data analysis during different development phases - Follow the Solutions Playbook and Best Business Practices to support team objectives - Conduct high-level quality analysis with meticulous attention to detail - Establish and maintain ongoing partnerships with customers for assigned projects - Provide technical, process, and financial analysis support to the Development team lead - Assist in creating customer business cases for conceptual solutions - Support detailed data collection and analysis for project development - Collaborate with internal and external partners to build energy savings models and cost estimates - Prepare proposals and communication documents for customers - Participate actively in leading cross-functional teams in project components development - Conduct on-site auditing and data collection for solution design and development - Prepare for and assist in presentations to technical buyers as needed - Engage in operational transition meetings to clarify project scope and objectives - Utilize MyWork platform, SharePoint sites, and JCI development tools in performing tasks - Develop and maintain supplier and vendor relationships along with facility technical managers - Stay updated with relevant engineering and design standards and practices - Participate in relevant professional organizations and work towards obtaining certifications - Promote adherence to JCI safety policies and perform additional related duties as assigned
