Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech

Job Location: Salem, MA 01970

Job Type: Contract - 13 weeks

Job Duties

Receive, inspect, and disassemble soiled medical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.

Clean, decontaminate, and sanitize instruments using specialized equipment, detergents, and cleaning processes.

Assemble, package, and prepare sterile instrument trays, surgical kits, and equipment sets following established protocols and quality standards.

Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring accurate cycle selection and proper loading techniques.

Monitor and document sterilization processes, including time, temperature, and pressure parameters, to ensure efficacy and compliance with regulations.

Maintain accurate records of all sterilized items, including lot numbers and expiration dates, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

BLS

HSPA or CBSPD certified

Permanent address under 50 miles of facility is considered as local candidates
