Job Description The Strategy Associate will support the business development, structuring, and management of L&G's investment strategies.
Support development and oversight of prospect/client strategies to ensure they are optimized for prospect/client-specific investment objectives and constraints
Develop and maintain knowledge of current investment market, economic issues, building block strategies, and L&G firm views
Maintain a detailed understanding of market instruments applicable to the assigned clients/sectors
Work on the development of systems for modeling/monitoring risk
Model the outcomes of different asset and derivative strategies to match client liabilities or risk objectives
Use technical expertise to explain the outcomes of analysis and obtain agreement on appropriate actions with the relevant parties
Support preparation of presentations for investment consultants, clients and prospects
Respond to client, consultant and third party requests for information in a comprehensive and timely manner
Support thought leadership research and publication
Provide specialist reporting as required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
2+ years investment management or similar experience
$80,000 to $95,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant's education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors.
This position is also eligible to participate in the company's annual discretionary bonus plan.
