Study Execution / Operations

- Facilitate and moderate in-person user studies with complex, detailed, and dynamic protocols.
- Gather system data from test devices, validate data fidelity, and assess system performance.
- Provide a positive, high-energy experience for all participants and ensure protocol compliance, documenting deviations and issues.
- Track study progress and participation metrics, provide timely updates, and raise study-related issues.
- Prepare, troubleshoot, and maintain study devices; install software and use SSH/terminal/command line for basic troubleshooting.
- Manage participant correspondence, recruitment, and scheduling.
- Work with data consumers to streamline data collection processes; assist with basic data processing and visualizations.
- Distribute surveys, review and collate responses and other feedback.
- Set up and break down study session areas; oversee environment setup and communicate maintenance needs.
- Flexibility to run study sessions between 7:30 am – 6:30 pm; occasional outdoor work (4–6 hours) in Cupertino may be required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related major) with 2+ years of experience required; master's degree preferred.
Key Qualifications
- Previous work experience requiring high engagement with people.
- Experience troubleshooting computers and consumer electronics.
- High attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Apple products is a plus.
