CredoCredo is seeking a System Application Engineer for a full-time, on-site role located in San Jose, CA. The System Application Engineer will provide technical support and troubleshooting, assist in software development and debugging, and collaborate with internal teams to refine programming solutions.
This individual will solve complex technical issues and ensure seamless integration and functionality of system applications, contributing to Credo's mission of advancing connectivity technologies.
Base salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Develop automation test scripts and SerDes algorithms in Python and C.
Perform system-level verification and validation under different testing environments.
Analyze and debug high-speed systems across various data rates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate stable firmware with SerDes algorithms.
Develop System Level Test (SLT) scripts and work with the Production team to execute high-volume sample testing.
Generate comprehensive reports based on test results and analysis.
Support customers with internal chip and IP evaluations and product-related inquiries.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
1–2 years of experience as an Application Engineer in high-speed system verification and validation or related field (preferred).
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose and resolve system-level issues effectively.
Knowledge of Digital Circuit Design and DSP Design in SerDes.
Experience with high-frequency testing equipment (Sampling Scope, BERT, Traffic Generator) is a plus.
Experience in debugging to identify and fix software and system-level bugs.
Proficiency in software development and programming to create, maintain, and optimize application software.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with cross-functional teams.
Experience in Analog Design.
