Requirements
Must have:
- We require an active DoD Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph.
- We are looking for 15 years of systems engineering experience, or a masters degree in a qualified engineering field with 13 years of systems engineering experience, or a bachelors degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline with four additional years of SE experience in place of the degree.
- We need hands-on competence with hand tools, including power tools.
- We expect familiarity with RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- We require working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Visio, Excel, and Word.
- We seek practical knowledge of Linux.
- We need experience conducting site surveys and/or planning and executing system installations.
- We expect strong communication skills.
- We need the ability to work effectively on a team or lead small project teams.
- We require willingness and ability to travel OCONUS and CONUS for periods of up to 3 to 4 weeks.
- We need experience troubleshooting networks, hardware, and software configurations.
- We expect the ability to think quickly and adapt to unexpected technical challenges.
- We value familiarity with system design and testing.
- We prefer familiarity with customer GOTS software capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- We perform systems engineering activities and prepare work products across ISO/IEC 15288 technical process areas.
- We develop and deliver work products within ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including project, technical, agreement, and enterprise areas.
- We analyze technical alternatives for projects and provide preliminary recommendations.
- We assist with engineering activities and evaluate solutions for project implementation.
- We assess technical designs and recommend alternatives independently when needed.
- We help define appropriate engineering standards and processes for projects.
- We develop innovative approaches to technical and engineering issues.
- We supervise or coordinate the work of contractor engineers and technicians.
- We lead systems engineering efforts, including oversight of project engineering staff and technicians.
- We approve delivery of work products across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
- We make independent decisions on engineering issues and project methodology.
- We brief stakeholders and present status updates on all technical aspects of the project.
- We provide full lifecycle support for collection and antenna systems, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment.
