Systems Usability Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Experience as a Systems Analyst with a focus on User Experience (UX) and Usability Engineering - Proven background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements by collaborating with end users, engineers, and developers - Capability to convert input from diverse sources into actionable usability, process, and procedural enhancements - Experience in designing web-based user interfaces for intricate processes and workflows - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Exceptional collaboration skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in engaging with all organizational levels and customers - Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and varied tasks - Experience working with software systems - Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Centered Design/Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Usability Engineer, or User Experience Designer - U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities:

- Oversee requirements, engineering, and design of system usability and related functionalities - Design user interfaces and document relevant requirements and design choices concerning user interfaces - Collaborate with various organizational levels, from executive management to technical teams, to analyze issues and develop solutions - Provide support for an existing production system - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including quality checks of reports and maintenance of automation - Create materials for information dissemination to the management team and external stakeholders - Partner with internal departments to develop and enhance processes and procedures across a wide range of disciplines
