Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree preferred in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years in technology delivery, systems integration, or technical program execution.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting federal government programs.
  • Proven ability to coordinate large-scale, multi-vendor technical initiatives or system integrations.
  • Must hold at least one certification from the following:
  • CompTIA Security+ - CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP - CISM, CISA - GSLC, CCISO - PMP, PgMP - AgilePM, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) - Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) - Significant experience in managing and overseeing technical execution of cybersecurity or complex IT programs, preferably within DoD or federal settings.
  • Strong technical background in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or cloud-based architectures.
  • Proven experience providing technical guidance and direction to engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with managing DevSecOps pipelines and cloud deployment architectures.
  • Strong skills in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage technical risk, integration challenges, and ensure system alignment with enterprise goals.

Responsibilities:

- Direct the technical planning, coordination, and implementation of Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems (IDCS) engineering initiatives aligned with DoD mission goals.
  • Develop and oversee integrated technical execution plans, manage dependencies, and implement risk mitigation strategies across architecture, development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
  • Confirm that technical solutions adhere to cybersecurity standards, architectural guidelines, and contractual technical specifications.
  • Utilize Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to enhance engineering coordination, improve solution quality, and increase delivery speed.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to facilitate system integration, architectural cohesion, and mission readiness.
  • Track and report technical performance metrics, service level objectives (SLOs), and health indicators of solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical execution status reports, integration updates, and risk assessments to upper management and government stakeholders.
