Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications and network systems.
Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cabling.
Configure and support routers, switches, and other network equipment.
Maintain communication devices, security systems, cameras, and electronic equipment.
Coordinate installation, upgrade, and repair projects with vendors and contractors.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable network performance.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and hardware issues.
Maintain equipment inventory and update technical documentation.
Ensure all work complies with safety and operational standards.
Support daily network operations with strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a Cable Technician installing and maintaining digital computer systems, peripheral equipment, telecommunications systems, or related infrastructure.
OR
2+ years of experience as a Lead Cable Technician.
Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, testing, termination, and troubleshooting of fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cabling.
Experience installing and supporting network devices such as routers, switches, and communication equipment.
