Summit Academy OICSummary/Purpose The Testing Coordinator supports the mission and programs of Summit Academy OIC by coordinating all aspects of the organization's entrance exam testing function: scheduling and administering exams, preparation of testing materials, and entering test data.

Administer and proctor Summit Academy OIC's entrance exams: Accuplacer, Accuplacer ATB, and TABE (Test for Adult Basic Education).Evaluate testing results in order to make recommendations for: acceptance into Summit, additional skills tutoring, and/or referral to other agencies.
Present testing information and communicate test results to prospective students.
Enter test data into appropriate databases in a timely manner.
Count, sort, distribute and assist in ordering testing materials - ensuring supply is always available when needed.
Maintain tracking system of candidates scheduled for testing, tested candidates, tested candidates' results, and rescheduled candidates.
Maintain integrity and security of testing center. Uphold all exam standards, ensure appropriate procedures that promote the validity of testing results and that ensure confidentiality.
Process all paperwork and documents for all exams.
Enter testing results in student database (SchoolDocs/CRM).
Provide students and staff with testing related information and reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of issues and trends in GED / Adult Basic Education
Ability to create and maintain organizational practices
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong organizational ability and able to meet deadlines
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to use a variety of software including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and projection equipment.
Ability to work and communicate with a diverse adult student population in a non-traditional learning environment

This job operates in a professional office and computer lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Presentations, some significant standing for observations, computer work, some filing required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, use keyboarding skills, and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). It is eligible for overtime. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
This position does not require travel.
Required Education & Experience A minimum of one year demonstrated counseling, admissions, financial aid or student advisory work.
One year experience grading and scoring educational assessments in Adult Basic Education.
Preferred Education & Experience
Associate's degree or higher in education, counseling or related field preferred. Experience working with a diverse population is a must.
