Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering - 2 to 4 years of professional engineering experience - Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems - Capability to apply problem-solving methods and engineering theory - Understanding of engineering design principles and practices - Working knowledge of relevant regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices for the assigned discipline - Graduate degree or graduate-level coursework in Engineering, Business Administration, or a Project Management certification is preferred - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, along with report writing and technical documentation ability - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and managers - Consulting and needs-assessment skills - Familiarity with analysis software such as CYMDIST, PSS/E, Python, PLS-CAD, Pole Foreman, Power BI, or similar tools is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Execute reliability engineering programs by turning approved engineering strategies, priorities, and recommendations into practical scopes, schedules, and technical work plans - Coordinate cross-functional execution across Operations, Field, Construction & Maintenance, T&S Engineering, and other teams to address technical constraints, sequencing issues, constructability concerns, and operational impacts - Develop and maintain execution documentation, including scopes of work, engineering summaries, work strategies, field guidance, implementation readiness materials, and post-execution records - Track progress on assigned reliability initiatives, identify risks, dependencies, and delivery gaps, and recommend corrective actions or escalations to engineers and leadership - Provide technical support during implementation by resolving execution-phase issues, answering field questions, and supporting installation, testing, or commissioning activities - Carry out engineering work related to critical projects or multiple smaller projects with complex elements - Handle assignments in areas where engineering precedents are limited or require broad experience - Evaluate, develop, and implement projects with moderate financial and operational impact - Serve as a subject matter expert in a specific area and may provide classroom training or on-the-job training - Provide technical assistance to senior engineers, managers, and others - Use technical expertise to support a safe work environment and improve customer satisfaction
