Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a WordPress Developer, with a hybrid work structure based in Mobile, AL—allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.
The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. Day-to-day tasks include creating and implementing website layouts, ensuring responsive designs, managing back-end and front-end development tasks, and addressing technical issues.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side languages and database management
Experience in Front-End Development, Responsive Web Design, and crafting user-friendly interfaces
Expertise in Web Design and Web Development, with a strong understanding of WordPress tools and themes
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug technical challenges
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with creative industries is a plus
Proficiency with Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
