WordPress Web Developer

Description

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer to support a rapidly growing transportation organization with multiple brands and digital platforms. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites that are visually engaging and performance-focused. The ideal candidate will ensure all sites meet up to date web standards, including responsiveness, speed optimization, SEO best practices, and ADA compliance, and built to scale while maintaining clean, secure, and efficient code across all properties.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, launch, and maintain WordPress websites across multiple company brands
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to implement design, functionality, and user experience goals
• Update existing websites with new content, features, and enhancements
• Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance
• Troubleshoot issues and implement ongoing improvements
• Manage plugins, themes, and site updates across all properties
• Work with SEO team and ensure all websites are optimized for SEO best practices, including meta titles, keywords, descriptions, and on-page structure

Position Details: Full-time Exempt/ Fully Remote (May have occasional in office meetings)

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of WordPress development experience
• Strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and site architecture
• Experience working on multiple websites simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
