Requirements
Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline, plus 4+ years of experience in semiconductor processing, semiconductor devices, or nanotechnology; or a masters degree in one of those fields plus 3+ years of relevant experience; or a PhD in one of those fields.
- We require 1+ years of experience with data analysis systems and machine learning techniques.
- We require 1+ years of experience with optical probing or metrology.
- We require 1+ years of experience applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
- Preferred candidates will have a PhD plus 2+ years of experience in semiconductor processing, semiconductor devices, or nanotechnology.
- Preferred candidates will have 1+ years of experience with fault isolation, failure analysis tools, and techniques such as electrical testing and layout studies.
- Preferred candidates will bring strong collaboration skills in cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Preferred candidates will demonstrate solid project management ability, self-initiative, and the capacity to drive strategic goals in complex environments.
- Preferred candidates will have expertise in semiconductor physics and advanced device interaction modeling.
- Preferred candidates will have experience maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor equipment.
- Preferred candidates will be able to develop and present yield strategies to technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred candidates will have proficiency in yield modeling methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- We perform statistical analysis to build accurate process development roadmaps and support technology yield milestones.
- We analyze and consolidate multiple data sources to identify defect mechanisms and create yield models.
- We develop multivariate algorithms for large-scale data analysis to uncover root causes of yield limiters.
- We extract insights from structured and unstructured data using machine learning, coding, and advanced statistical techniques.
- We partner with process integration, defect engineering, and electrical fault isolation teams to troubleshoot yield detractors and recommend solutions.
- We conduct fault isolation and failure analysis to identify the root cause of yield-related issues.
- We create tools and systems that convert manufacturing data into actionable yield improvement strategies.
- We work closely with design teams to resolve product yield challenges and improve manufacturability.
- We execute new product introductions and contribute to factory task forces to optimize processes.
