I designed and planned nature and history interpretive programs for visitors of all ages. I taught classes unsupervised to groups of up to 70 people. I led unsupervised nature hikes and held impromptu interpretive "talks" about various aspects of the park. I was assigned various park maintenance duties such as cleaning visitors centers and restrooms. As a naturalist intern I began designing a "Naturalist In Training" booklet for adults similar to a junior ranger program.
