I am a researcher, evaluator, and data scientist focused on remedying educational disparities among students caused by a broken education system. In addition to my work at Hopkins, I consult in the areas of data science, evaluation, and strategic planning.
My early career highlights include publishing the CDPHE Paid Family and Medical Leave Report, which contributed to Governor Polis and Colorado lawmakers passing 12 weeks of mandated PFML; working under Dr.
Crenshaw to promote racial and social justice for Black women with the #sayhername campaign; and currently, developing and managing a data system visualized via Tableau for Hopkins Public Schools. Overall, my work is grounded in antiracism (including how white people can practice antiracism and socialize those around them to be antiracist), critical race theory, and using data to strategically to create meaningful change.
