Firmware development in C, Zephyr RTOS, Linux toolchain

• Developed a C device driver and real-time firmware for a temperature sensor, sampling reliably at 10 Hz across 24+ hour validation runs, by using Zephyr RTOS threads on a resource-constrained ARM Cortex-M33 microcontroller (nRF5340 DK).
• Built and flashed all firmware from a Linux development environment using command-line tools and Git version control.
• Reduced I2C/UART communication errors by ~90% (from ~1 in 50 frames to under 1 in 500), by probing bus signals with an oscilloscope and fixing timing and addressing issues during hardware bring-up.
• Cut sensor-log review time by ~60% (from ~30 to ~12 minutes per test run), by writing a Python automation script to parse UART logs and flag anomalies for root-cause analysis.
