Electrical Trainee at Private Electrical Business (Family Friend) (2025-02 – Present)

Since February, I have been working as an electrical apprentice for a family friend through his private electrical business, gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, including CNC machine shops. I have been introduced to the fundamentals of the electrical trade and have gained experience working with Romex, EMT conduit, flex conduit, and MC cable. I have also worked in attics and outdoor environments while using a variety of tools, including bandsaws, oscillating multi-tools, skill saws, drills, and other hand and power tools.

• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
