Achamo Peterson

I’m an Information Science student at UW–Madison with minors in Data Science and Digital Studies, focused on UX/UI design, web development, and data-driven problem solving. I enjoy building accessible, user-centered digital experiences through tools like Figma, HTML/CSS, WordPress, and SQL.I’ve completed projects involving mobile app prototyping, CMS website design, relational database modeling, and digital content organization. I’m motivated by roles where I can combine design creativity with structured thinking to solve problems and improve user experiences.

I take pride in my ability of being reliable, motivated, and receptive to feedback. My aim is to always learn, both as a person as well as a professional, while being a part of projects that work towards making a difference in this world. I look forward to having a long-term career in technology, learning, leveling, and being a part of this ever-changing world.

I’m an Information Science undergraduate with experience across web development, UX/UI design, and data organization. I’ve worked on projects involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and WordPress, translating design concepts and structured data into user-friendly, accessible digital experiences. My background includes building and maintaining websites, designing mobile and web interfaces in Figma, and collaborating on project-based work that required clear communication, attention to detail, and iterative problem-solving.

I’m especially interested in roles at the intersection of frontend development, UX, and data-driven products, and I’m comfortable learning new tools quickly in fast-paced environments.

I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Information Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with minors in Data Science and Digital Studies. My coursework has focused on web development, applied database design, UX/UI design, and data organization, giving me a strong foundation in frontend technologies, relational databases, and user-centered design. Through hands-on projects, I’ve applied these skills to build websites, design mobile and web interfaces, and work with structured datasets in practical, real-world contexts.
