Permanent position with daily tasks including inputting data on force systems, monitoring the inbox, handling the mail, updating spreadsheets, filing documents, sending sickness reports to HR, placing orders on Agresso, booking firearms in on ERP and Red Sigma, completing police officer's mileage and expenses, credit card purchasing and handing petty cash. Deals with heavy workload, working well under pressure and prioritizing urgent tasks. Main task is liaising with police staff regarding booking conference rooms, placing orders and general enquiries.
Communicates over the phone, face to face and via email. Deals with members of the public regarding firearms queries and has handled confrontation. Handles extremely sensitive and confidential information when carrying out sickness reports.
Driver Maintenance Officer - Durham Constabulary

Main duties included transportation of internal mail to various police stations, carrying out safety checks of police vehicles ensuring faults are reported to the workshop, carrying out relevant checks of police buildings and office furniture removals. Continuously prioritized workload, working well under pressure to meet deadlines. Role involved decision making, for example when completing vehicle checks deciding whether they were road worthy or needed further checks.
