I am a research assistant currently looking for a new role where I can continue to grow and utilze my skillset in Biology and laboratory sciences. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and over 3 years of working experience in academics and medical laboratories, 6 years with animals, and 4 years in administration. I believe I am a great fit for this role due to my experience working with a team and independently on various experiments, handling lab equipment, chemicals, and working in different lab environments including vivarium and BSL-2 rooms. I have extensive experience with PCR, ELISA, histology, animal surgery, data analysis, and knowledge of SOP's, GLP's, Cal-OSHA and EH&S standards. Due to previous experience working in an office, I am also proficient with Microsoft word and excel which helps me with organization in the lab.
