I am a Massachusetts attorney with nearly five years of experience supporting complex corporate, financing, and commercial real estate transactions. My practice background combines legal training with hands-on experience advising attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, and corporate clients on entity governance, UCC secured transactions, due diligence, and multi-jurisdictional compliance matters.

Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked full-time at Cogency Global while attending law school, where I developed extensive experience supporting financings, acquisitions, fund-related transactions, and commercial real estate matters across all 50 states. I have managed more than 1,000 annual corporate and UCC filings and conducted hundreds of due diligence reviews involving lien searches, ownership structures, governance records, and transactional risk assessment. Through this work, I have collaborated closely with attorneys at leading law firms and financial institutions, helping clients navigate complex transactional and compliance requirements.

I earned my Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and am admitted to practice in Massachusetts. My academic interests focused on corporate and transactional law, including Secured Transactions, Corporate Finance, Business Organizations, and Corporate Compliance and SEC Reporting.

I am particularly interested in corporate transactions, commercial finance, private credit, fund formation, investment management, and commercial real estate matters. I enjoy working on sophisticated transactions, solving complex legal and business issues, and helping clients achieve their strategic objectives through practical, detail-oriented legal solutions.

Client Service Specialist – Operations Team at Cogency Global Inc. (2021-04 – Present)

• Advise attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, and corporate clients on complex filing strategies, entity compliance requirements, and multi-jurisdictional transaction structuring, serving as a trusted resource for attorneys at leading law firms, including Goodwin, Weil, Gunderson, Cooley, WilmerHale, and Ropes & Gray.
• Support financings, acquisitions, fund-related transactions, and commercial real estate matters by conducting more than 750 UCC, lien, litigation, and corporate due diligence reviews annually, analyzing ownership structures, filing histories, encumbrances, and compliance risks across all 50 states.
• Manage 1,000+ annual corporate and UCC filings, including entity formations, foreign qualifications, mergers, conversions, dissolutions, financing statements, amendments, continuations, and terminations, while coordinating time-sensitive closing requirements.
• Prepare and obtain organizational documents, certificates of good standing, charter records, and jurisdictional compliance reports for borrowers, guarantors, property-holding entities, lenders, and corporate clients in connection with transactional closings and ongoing governance matters.
• Support commercial real estate transactions through deed recordings, title-related filings, entity qualification reviews, and pre-closing due diligence, including remediation of compliance deficiencies and restoration of entities to good standing across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct comprehensive entity structure and ownership research for corporate, financing, and real estate transactions, assisting attorneys and clients in evaluating governance requirements, organizational authority, and transaction readiness.
• Manage a portfolio of 100+ corporate and law firm clients, serving as the primary point of contact on complex filing and compliance matters while regularly handling 20–30 active matters simultaneously.
• Perform quality assurance review for transactional filings and due diligence projects throughout the Northeast region, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency before delivery to clients.
• Train and mentor six or more team members on corporate filing procedures, UCC processes, and multijurisdictional compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with training and technology departments to develop standardized workflows for complex multi-state conversion projects, improving efficiency and consistency across the organization.
