As a key member of the Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) team at Amazon Fulfillment Center (JFK8), I ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of advanced robotics and automated material handling systems. I maintain and troubleshoot Amazon Robotics (AR) systems, including H-Drive autonomous mobile robots, AR Floors, ARSAW workstations, NIKE stations, conveyor systems, and automated packaging equipment. Using strong mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical troubleshooting skills, I diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
I collaborate closely with Reliability Engineers, Controls Engineers, and cross-functional maintenance teams to resolve complex equipment issues, support system upgrades, and optimize automated distribution operations. My responsibilities include performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, monitoring SCADA systems, documenting maintenance activities in CMMS, coordinating work orders, managing spare parts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and 5S. I also support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.
In addition to my technical responsibilities, I mentor and train Maintenance & Robotics Technicians (MRTs) in troubleshooting and system recovery while contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) deployments, KPI tracking, CAMP Bridge meetings, and Scope of Work (SOW) implementations. As a Certified H-Drive Maintenance Technician through Amazon Robotics University (ARU), I bring expertise in Amazon Robotics systems, autonomous mobile robots, firmware upgrades, conveyor automation, and equipment reliability, supported by strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering innovative automation solutions in high-performance manufacturing environments.
