I'm a non-binary person living in Northern Colorado. I have a strong background in serving others from since I was young, and have had a strong desire to make an impact in the mental health field. My career goals include peer support because I feel providing that is where I can make the most impact in a one on one mental health/substance abuse setting.
I've been a Peer Support Specialist and Peer Recovery Coach for four years.I have experience working with first episode psychosis, depression, anxiety, assisting in personal management of symptomology, and suicidality/homicidality crisis situations. I have experience working in care team for First Episode Psychosis, Intensive Youth Outpatient Mental Health Services, and a Youth Crisis Response Team.
