My name is Ahtziry Amaro. Im going to be a senior at Larkin High School in Elgin. I enjoy playing volleyball for my school in the fall and I enjoy managing for the boys volleyball team. Also, I will be joining the girl volleyball camp for my school this summer and will try to try-out for girls flag football for the first time. Overall, I like to stay involved in after school activities and learn about new things.
I signed up as a manager for boys volleyball to not only improve my skills for my season but to also help and try to improve the team to win and get trophies by helping then find our opponent weak points, and also helping them keep a positive energy on the court which is the most important so we won’t lose hope. Another important thing I do as a manager is taking down the nets and poles keeping them organized in our equipment closet so when we come in the next day it’s easy for us to quickly set everything up for practice and game days.
