I am originally from New Zealand, but am coming up on two years living and working in the UK. I've mainly been working in the hospotality sector since arriving here, however I now think it's time to start focusing on a career. I am passionate about all things animals, and I am considering studying further in a veterinary technician position at some point in the future.
Over the last two years I have worked for The Langdale Estate, as a restaurant supervisor, and as bartender. Within this role, I was sole charge of the restaurant on many busy evenings, making sure that operations ran as smooth as possible. I am used to fast paced environments, and work very well under stress with the ability to juggle several tasks at once.
I have experience in customer service across many different modes of working. From behind the scenes of a bank, to general retail and sales, to waitressing, and to volunteering in my youth at a farm park.
Bachelor of Science - BSc, Anthropological and Biological Sciences
Grade: 7.86 GPA A BSc with a double major in Anthropological Sciences and Biological Sciences, specialising in Zoology. Within the anthropology department, I focused on biological anthropology and Pacific archaeology.
Within zoology, I focused on both marine and terrestrial animal biology with an interest in Aotearoa's sea/shore birds.
