Alana Stubbs

I am a private and group dance instructor based in the NW Portland area. I mainly teach contempoary, ballet, and floor work genres. I have experience teaching and choreographing with kids ages 6-18 years old.

• Dance Educator at Bodyvox Dance Center- Currently teaching the Youth Contemporary classes, Advanced Contemporary, and Modern Contemporary Blend. In previous years I have also taught improvisation, creative process, ballet, and floor work. 
• Push/FOLD Dance Company- Current dancer with the athletic contemporary dance company based in Portland OR, push/FOLD. I am finishing my second season with them this year and will be starting my third season in June. 

I graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee summa cum laude with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance. While there I took courses about pedagogy, composition, ballet technique, improvisation, and contemporary technique.
