Laundry Tech - A.I.Hospital for Children

(2008-10)

• Operate washers, extractors, conditioners, flatwork ironers, and pressers.
• Sort laundry according to type and weight in order to ensure proper level for washing machines.
• Count and deliver clean laundry to appropriate storage areas.
• Collect, transport and record poundage of soiled bags of laundry from hospital.
• Loaded/Unloaded delivery truck for the purpose of picking up soiled items and returning sanitized items to appropriate locations.
• Sorts and folds laundered articles for the purpose of preparing them for storage and/or delivery to other locations.
• Stocked shelves, as needed, for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items required to properly maintain laundry and work areas.

Building Maintenance - Reicher Property

• Inspects assigned areas of building on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Cleans, repairs, or makes any adjustments necessary to maintain areas to standards
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
• Work indoors and outdoors with heavy physical endurance, often in inclement weather conditions. Occasionally works on ladders at heights of 25 feet or more
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
• Replace and repair various other tasks as well as Landscaping the property
• Performs many other tasks such as: assemble furniture and deliver, safety check wall rails, minor re-configuration of modular furniture, shower and towel bars, and repair of housekeeping equipment
