Aleena Haider

Aleena Haider, a writer and editor based in Chicago, has spent the past twelve years turning her childhood dream of becoming a writer into reality.

Between starting her own publication, being published by digital news outlets, and becoming the Editor-In-Chief of a global digital security magazine, Aleena has found a second home in the words she writes.

I have a degree in English Media and Rhetorical studies (graduating with Highest Distinction and honors), which gave me the knowledge and skills to write, edit, and review written work. As a student, I was taught professional copywriting, blog writing, and numerous other forms of writing. Additionally, I have experience working as an Editor-in-Chief and Chief Writer for my magazine, Dreamer By Night, where I edit and review articles and ensure they meet our standards.

I am now the new chief writer and editor for a digital cyber security and economics publication. My experience has given me extensive knowledge of different styles and grammar guides and proficiency in using different editing software. I am highly organized and detail-oriented, which is essential when editing.

In addition, I pay close attention to grammar, punctuation, and structure, ensuring the manuscript is polished and ready for submission.
