My name is Alejandro Lopez and I am a graduate from Texas A&M University. I obtained my Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2024. My goal is to become a veterinarian in the future and am currently looking for experience. I have always had a love for animals and want to be able to help them in any way I can. Veterinarian Technician Assistant at Texas Wellness Spay and Neuter Clinic (2024-10 – Present)

Mainly work in the recovery section, ensuring animals are fine after surgery, as well as ensuring the animals get their vaccines and anything else the owners want. I also help prepare vaccines for the wellness clinic as well as give vaccines here as well.

Volunteer at Texas Wellness Spay and Neuter Clinic (2024-05 – 2024-06)

Gained experience and learned how to give injections, take blood samples, administer pills, clean ears, and look after animals after surgery. Learned a little bit about handling animals and got some experience with smaller dogs.

Volunteer at Valley Nature Center (2019-08 – 2019-09)

Helped with cleaning the main building, as in mopping, sweeping, sanitizing book shelfs. Also helped sweep the outside trails.

Hospital Volunteer at knapp medical center (2018-06 – 2018-07)

Helped deliver food to the patients room, helped prepare the food and providing the utensils for each plate, helped at the front desk, and was a cashier at the gift shop.
