Marine and industrial designer with over five years of professional experience, currently serving as Head of Design & Manufacturing at Navalcat International and Yachtcat — two sister companies in Colombia dedicated to working vessels and luxury FRP catamarans, respectively. Trained as a visual artist from the age of ten, with a background in Industrial Design from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. A lifelong draughtsman and meticulous detailer working fluidly across the full spectrum from freehand sketch to concept model to production-ready documentation, always in pursuit of forms that are honest to manufacture within the manufacturing resources and compelling to the eye.

At Navalcat International, where I have spent the last two years, I joined as a concept designer and progressed to lead the production and detailing of FRP powercats ranging from 47 to 80 ft. Work has focused on refining existing hull platforms within the realities of Colombian manufacturing, where vessels are built inland and transported by trailer to coastal and river destinations. This experience has strengthened the ability to balance design intent, engineering requirements, manufacturability, and cost, while maintaining a clear understanding of how decisions made at the drawing board affect the entire production process.
