Exploration Geologist, Coeur Alaska Kensington (September 2021 - Present)
- As an Exploration Geologist at Kensington, I am responsible for creating and implementing exploration drill plans for underground and surface diamond drill rigs. I perform daily rig inspections to ensure that safety standards are being met within the mine as well as at drill stations. Additionally, I am tasked with seeking out and overseeing specialized contractors to perform various tasks for our exploration program.
Geologist, KORE Mining Ltd. (June 2021 – August 2021)
- As a Geologist, I assisted with prospect level geologic field mapping and sampling on a greenfield gold exploration project. Additionally, I prepared and oversaw the shipment of samples to a 3rd party assay lab for multielement geochemical analysis and fire assay. When not in the field, I added value by compiling research hand background information for the senior geologist, as well as taking on project management and logistical tasks.
Junior Contractor, David's Pools Inc. (January 2016 – June 2021)
- As a Junior Contractor I was responsible for creating and interpreting construction plans, managing project information, and conducting consultations with potential and current clients.
Undergraduate Research, Cal Poly Pomona, (September 2019 – May 2021)
- Using resistivity and other geophysical surveys, I investigated the air-layer lubrication hypothesis proposed by Ronald L. Shreve at the Blackhawk Landslide in Lucerne Valley, CA. Results from this investigation may provide a deeper understanding of the environments that support large-scale landslides.
