I embarked on my journey to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through Sisu Care, engaging in in-person clinics where I gained essential skills and cultivated compassion for clients. After two months, I proudly earned my certification and license. Although I am not currently actively using my license, I am exploring job opportunities for times when I am not working in healthcare.

My experience in the program and at the clinic was incredibly enriching. I developed excellent communication skills with both my peers and patients, becoming more sociable and improving my ability to solve last-minute challenges. I am eager to learn and genuinely value constructive criticism.

I collaborated effectively with my teammates and helped ensure our work environment remained enjoyable, even during challenging moments. Responsibility and active listening are among my strengths. Building connections with my patients was always a priority, and I made it a point to ensure they felt comfortable and safe.

Additionally, while serving food and assisting with meals, I gained valuable insight into client service and hospitality.

During this period, I engaged in community service and took part in a crab feed, where we distributed food and ensured that guests had a delightful experience. I developed skills in initiating conversations with attendees and assisting those in need. Additionally, I gained valuable serving experience, and ultimately, our class successfully raised enough funds for our fundraiser.
