I'm a UX/UI designer in the Los Angeles region with a background in digital marketing and photography. With a creative eye for art, I am a highly skilled photographer and designer. I’m excited to bring my unique background in market research and creative photography skills to better enhance user experiences.
Over this past year and a half, I have grown immensely working as Visual UX Designer for Allstate Insurance. Within this role, I worked within a bigger UX team among other UX designers and UX researchers working on Allstate’s Drivewise app. My role focused more on visual design managing design files, updating the design system, and creating visually pleasing designs that ensure a high quality UX experience.
Other duties within this role included designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools using Invision, Sketch and Figma, and helping assist our UX researchers by supporting in UX research.
Before working for Allstate, I expanded my experience by working as a freelance UX/UI designer for a few creative agencies. Within these roles, I gained valuable experience within the UX/UI process including creating user flow diagrams, designing low to high fidelity wireframes, presenting designs to clients, and learning by working with a senior level designer. I have learned the importance of working within a team, communicating efficiently, and how to work in an industry that is always adapting.
Coming from a marketing background, working within the design industry has helped me understand the importance of creating digital experiences that are both user friendly and well designed. My experience in user research, user flows, prototyping, and wire framing would allow me to be a valuable asset to your department. I also have extensive experience with programs like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch and Invision.
I finished my UX/UI Design program in 2021 with Career Foundry.
