Apprentice Electrician (Residential) at Ms Karla's crew for LINC electric (2026-02 – Present)
Hours per week: 50
- In Roughs, read the blueprints, make the measurements, and leave certain marks where something specific is located. Box out the house which would be nailing and screwing in plugs, lights, switches, and etc., then drill where necessary. Run the wires along through the holes while breaking it up in circuits through out the house, and strip what needs to be stripped. Mount the panel where it's supposed to be placed, place the breakers in the panel then connect the circuits to the breakers, place a ground rod outside the house near the panel, hammer it down into the ground then connect the ground wire from the ground rod to the panel.
- In Trims, connect the plugs, switches, lights, and etc., then turn on all the breakers. Make sure everything is properly working, and label all the breakers as well.
- In Remodels, scrap the parts that are being moved, later come back after they done with the new frame, and essentially do what we would do in Roughs.
- In Diagnostics, troubleshoot, find the problem and fix it.
