My name is Alexandra Pentikis and I am a physician assistant. I completed my Masters of PA studies at Frostburg State University. Previously,I worked at an EMT for 2 years in the emergency department at George Washington University Hospital. Performed history and physical exams, interpreted labs, developed diagnosis and treatment plans. Performed and assisted with therapeutic procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, joint aspiration and injection, EKG interpretation, phlebotomy, and wound care. Participated in trauma evaluations and acute stabilization under supervision.

Performed preventative exams including annual wellness visits, well-women exams including pap smears and pelvic exams, and pediatric well child visits. Proficient in EMR systems including Epic and Cerner.
