While my education is a far better reflection of my skills, my work history has still been generalized to the public and our community. Therefore, it is only fair to say that not only do I enjoy working with people, as I have also served as the VP of community services for a non-profit that my family has run from 2017 to 2020, but my skills and education have given me a set of tools to use, so when it comes to the counseling sessions. My ultimate goal is to either own my own practice or join a Mental Health team at an established practice.

However, my short-term goal is to obtain a position at your establishment.

Intern - Wishing Star - Spokane, WA

• Opening and closing the Wishing Star Store gave me the option to prove I was and am a leader.
• I accomplished many personal achievements with Wishing Star. First, I not only became a reliable individual for families to interact with, but I also held my own wish event that involved organizing it, reaching out to families to attend, and then putting it together and holding it for the wish families.
• Moreover, this included going through and organizing Wishing Star's overstock room. Once that was done, I had to come up with an idea of how "we" could benefit the families while also getting rid of the "clutter." I came up with the idea of a toy store for Wish children and siblings to come through, where they could choose three items to take home. Many parents sat with me as their children wandered around the room, unsure if they could, surprisingly, grab a toy and take it. They mentioned how a

• Working at Best Buy taught me how to work with a large population of people, not only in a confined space but also on a personal level. Regardless of your position during seasonal work, the number of individuals will be large at first, and you will be in a hurry. Therefore, you must be willing to accept interruptions and know where everything is in the store, regardless of whether it's in your department.

Teachers Aid - Wilson Elementary - Spokane, WA

• Demonstrated that the determination of a child's mind has no limits once you stop putting labels on them.
• I worked with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders who were below reading standards but did not qualify for the state-assisted reading class. I was not able to complete this internship; however, when I left during winter break, all the kids I was helping had improved their reading levels.

Since 2/14/2025, I have been working in my MHCA field to complete the hours required for my full license. I always complete the required continuing education well before it is due. However, I am looking into EMDR work that can be done online, as I am epileptic, and while it's been over a year since my last seizure, I plan on continuing my EMDR training online and working remotely
