Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), also known as the Chapter 31 program, is a program authorized by Congress under Title 38 of the United States Code. It provides services to eligible Servicememembers and Veterans with service-connected disabilities to help prepare for, obtain and maintain suitable employment or achieve independence in daily living.
Chapters authorized by Congress under Title 38 of the United States Code include Chapters 18, 35, and 36.
