I am a postdoctoral researcher in XuLab at Carnegie Mellon University. I got my Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, working with Prof. Nasrabadi. My research interests span the areas of machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV).
I have extensive experience in developing deep-learning models for computer vision tasks such as biometric identification, semantic segmentation, object detection, video analysis, etc. I am able to lead a team on any machine learning and computer vision topic to solve medium to large-scale problems.

MSc in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
