I have extensive training in professional settings and lab settings, as the majority of my work has been in marine biology. I am exploring other career options and am looking to work and save money until I can go back to school in 2 or more years. I have a lot of experience in customer service, answering phones, and sales.
Aaron’s Dive Shop: 1 year and 4 months worked there. I was shop staff, which meant answering phones, making reservations, checking credentials, organizing and signing people up for classes, sales, and constant customer service. I was the first person everyone would see behind the counter.
Sea Life Park: 11 months worked there. I was a marine mammal trainer, working closely with dolphins, seals, and penguins. I was required to interact with the public everyday, maintaining formal greetings and great customer service. I had 3 scheduled public educational talks a day, and spent lots of time with the public.
Nordstrom: 1 year and 2 months I was working there. I was sales and greeted the customers and would help them find what they needed. I would take phone calls to set up alteration appointments and help with returns and shipments of items for customers.
