Alyssa Aalders

Since graduating in 2020, I have continued to add to my professional skill set and further develop the customer service I provide, learning from my peers and leaders. From there I made my way into hospitality and fell in love with the relationships I built with guests and other employees. Working with others to create a pleasant experience for customers whether it is in a retail store or a resort is a passion of mine. Thank you for your consideration, I hope to hear from you soon!

I started as a Brand Associate at Old Navy and in the four years I worked there moved up to the position of Lead and later took on the roles of Senior Lead and Engagement Lead. In my time there I mentored new employees, collaborated on merchandising projects, met sales goals and metrics and created relationships with customers daily. I later went on to work at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in retail and gained valuable experience in hospitality by scheduling play times and staying up to date on events and member perks.

I took this experience with me to the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center where I worked most recently in the theatre department as a Special Events Attendant.

I am currently attending Front Range Community College in order to obtain a degree in Studio Arts. From there I plan to transfer to a four year art college where I can develop specialized skills.
