I was employed through the Justice Resource Institute as a full time Therapeutic Counselor/Case Manager, at their therapeutic afterschool program for children who struggle with mental health and behavioral issues. I was responsible for case work with clients to assist them in not only the afterschool environment, but in all domains of their lives. Being a therapeutic counselor aswell, meant that I also worked to care for the clients(children) every day.
I would lead group therapy sessions, as well as keep them regulated throughout the day. I also was responsible for teaching the clients new coping tools/techniques in order to help them manage their individual complex needs. I worked here as a full-time employee, after completing a two-year-long internship at this program for college.

I was employed at Staples as a sales associate. My responsibilities included working with customers to help them find what they are looking for, assist with the UPS drop-off that's located within the store; creating a friendly and welcoming environment for the customers, and running the cash register. I later was promoted to working in the Staples' Copy Center, where I would assist customers with their print orders.
This required me to work with store guests in order to comprise their custom orders, as well as to produce print orders placed online.
