Alyssa Haig

Hello all! I'm Alyssa Haig and I am a junior in the joint Computer Science & Mathematics, BS at Western Washington University. I am actively looking for software engineering internship opportunities. I grew up in Spokane, WA, and currently reside in Bellingham, WA with my husband and our cat, Professor. I am willing to relocate for work.

I currently work as a shift manager in a bowling alley where I utilize skills such as leadership, teamwork, task prioritization, and conflict resolution. Previously I was an administrative assistant and permit manager at a civil engineering firm where I used Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and skills such as organization, time management, and collaboration.

I am in a joint Computer Science and Mathematics major which has led me to gain skills across both fields. I know various programming languages, object-oriented design, and am comfortable with data structures. I'm also well-versed in linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and statistics.
