As I have learned through my own work experience, I have found my niche in serving others. I have worked in assisted living for about 4 years and I have realized the enjoyment and sense of fulfillment that comes from this type of work. I feel that working for Fresenius will give me an outlet to not only serve others, but to learn a new and interesting method to better serve others.

Culinary Assistant at Canopy at Boynton Ridge (2021-01 – 2023-12)

• Helped prepare and serve food in a timely, efficient manner in a way that consisted with resident satisfaction and expectation
• Ensured all utensils for cooking and eating were sanitary and safe for a population that is at high risk for illness
• Assisted in many other situations in residents' daily lives as I fostered relationships I will always treasure, but most importantly increased each resident's joy and quality of life, while de-escalating any type of negativity that occurred

Dietary Aide at Morning Pointe (2021-01 – 2023-12)

• Learned the expectations and needs regarding food service in the assisted living field
• Served the entire dining room drinks, soup or salad, and entrees in a timely and kind manner, most often without aide
• Washed and sanitized all dishes from the days three meals and kept the dining area/lobby clean and ready for tours for future residents
• Formed meaningful relationships with residents that allowed me to better serve them and better understand the needs inherent in these communities
