I started as an Express Service Advisor, which means I run the quick lane with my own team of technicians. I work directly with customers in need of a 30 min service oil change, and up to a 3 hours scheduled maintenance. I check in the customer, write their service order, obtain authorization and update through the process of the service.
If so I up sell recommendations for repairs needed on their vehicles. I follow the customer through on the whole process from open to closing out their paperwork, which includes estimates and quotes, and verifying warranty coverage, recalls and extended warranties.
