I provide all basic care needs for patients at Christiana Care, including toileting, bathing, feeding, blood sugar checks, and vitals checks throughout a 12-hour shift. I am also a unit clerk in charge of tracking patient movement and staffing amongst two separate units. I perform other clerical tasks such as answering phone calls and directing them to the proper channels, ordering linen and other materials/equipment for the unit, breaking down and creating patient charts, and updating them in the system, as well as other clerical tasks.
