Amelia Yianakopolos

I'm a full stack software engineer who loves learning and adapts well to ambiguity and new challenges. I'm looking to leverage my passion for and experience in software engineering - combined with the leadership, project management, design and collaboration skills gained in my 5 years as a licensed structural engineer - to contribute to an interesting product at an innovative company.

I'm currently a software engineer with Azure Storage through Microsoft Leap working to improve single and double encryption functionality. My responsibilities include:

• Improving observability and reliability of encryption services through increased logging and monitoring.
• Identifying gaps in existing testing and enhancing code coverage of encryption test suite through end-to-end tests.
• Participating in agile team functions including sprint planning and task effort estimation.
• Identifying root cause of bugs and using test driven development to implement code changes.
