Amy Butler

I’m a finance and accounting leader with nearly a decade of progressive experience at Northeastern Health System, where I currently serve as Senior Director of Accounting. In my role, I lead a team responsible for payroll operations for two hospitals, general ledger oversight for 11 entities, and accounts payable functions for eight companies. I work closely with executive leadership, including our CFO, hospital CEO, and system CEO, to support financial strategy, budgeting, audits, and operational decision-making across the organization.

What I enjoy most about my career is solving complex problems, improving processes, and helping teams succeed. Whether I’m leading external audits, troubleshooting system issues between platforms like Oracle Cerner and Multiview, or presenting budgets to the board, I enjoy being in roles where I can make a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, I’m currently pursuing my MBA at Northeastern State University, with plans to graduate in 2027. I’ve been married for nearly 20 years, have two children, and I also have a creative side—I run a small crafting business called Country Lane and love spending time in my craft room, which is definitely my happy place.
